Looking for a Cake Smash Photoshoot in Oxfordshire – You’ve come to the right place!

So many of my families that come to me in the first few weeks for their newborn session return to celebrate their baby’s first birthday with a fabulous Cake Smash Photoshoot.

What is a Cake Smash?

If I had a pound for every time someone has asked me that. Actually, no, for every time, every dad has asked me that 🙂

It’s a super fun session that allows your little one to eat cake and have messy play all whilst being photographed.

We choose a theme that suits you, in this case a lovely pale neutral and baby blue, but it can be pretty much whatever you want. I’ve done princess, Harry Potter, Toy Story, rustic, boho, you name it, we can do it!

However, it doesn’t stop there, we also make sure we get some lovely plain images before we start on the cake, to give you a few to share with the grandparents, and then to clean everyone off afterwards – we pop them in the teeny tiny baby sized bath, to splash with bubbles and let them make as much mess as they want!

What should I bring for my Cake Smash?

Your baby, a towel and a drink! That’s it. It’s also a good idea to bring some of their favourite snacks, just in case we need to hide some in the cake! I source all of the decorations and order a bespoke cake to match!

Can you join in?

Absolutely – want a family shot first – of course that’s fine, want to bring a sibling along to get some pictures of the kids together before the cake gets brought in? That’s cool too!

When should you book?

It’s a great idea to get your Cake Smash booked a few weeks in advance to ensure I can source all the relevant decorations and order the cake. However, if you want something last minute – please do give me a shout, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

Sebby’s First Birthday

Sebby came in for a newborn session with his amazing mummy and daddy, and what seems like weeks later – he was back celebrating his first birthday. His mummy had ordered him this stunning knitted jumper so we matched the theme to complement that! It’s safe to say he absolutely loved the cake – I think you can see from the handfuls he is squishing in his mouth! I can’t lie – the cake is always so good, I think I would be doing exactly the same!

How much does it cost?
