Wow! What a year it’s been.
You’re not quite sure how you got here, but suddenly your baby is one! Where did that last year go? Your baby is now on solids, no doubt making a mess all over your kitchen floor, they may even be walking, or definitely on the move.
You may have nailed bedtime habits, and even be heading back to work soon. But the most important thing is, you’ve done it! Woo hoo! It’s time to celebrate.

ccMost people choose to have a cake smash for their baby’s first birthday. To capture their personality, to freeze in time that first precious birthday that has come around all too quickly.
What a session includes:
- A mini portrait shoot to capture your baby clean and cute. You can even include family pictures too if you wish.
- Full cake smash set up, with all decorations and bespoke cake included to reflect the theme of your choice.
- A fun bubble bath to wash off all the cake
Sessions are held on weekdays or Saturdays, in my studio, and everything is supplied, all you need to do is bring the outfit for your little cherub.

All of my sessions, whether newborn, cake smash or family are all done at the pace of your little one, meaning if we need to stop for a feed and snuggles, then that’s totally fine.
And finally, I’m a mum too! I spent many years and rounds of fertility treatment to conceive my daughter, so I know how precious these little beings are to you.

We have received our gorgeous photographs from Emma and we are so pleased. This is the third time we’ve used Emma. I have a maternity and newborn shoot last year. And another newborn shoot a few weeks ago. She was so patient with us considering we had a newborn, 17-month-old and dog to try and get pictures with. Our experience with Emma at Studio Bambino was fantastic. She is a lovely person with an amazing skill set! We felt very relaxed, and she was great with our newborn.
