If you’re reading this and considering a newborn photography session, I will assume congratulations is in order. I know personally that the journey to pregnancy is not always easy, but no matter how you got here, I’m excited for you! A new baby is just the most amazing experience. The first few weeks fly by in a flurry of midwives, visitors and getting to know this new little bundle. In the blink of an eye that precious newborn stage has passed you by.
I can’t count how many people have said to me ‘I wish I had done a newborn photography session with my little one, but I just didn’t get around to booking’! So I always encourage people to book after their 20-week scan in order to guarantee you a spot in my diary. Whilst I’ll always do my best to fit you in, I’ve had to turn people away in the past as I’ve just not had the availability. I book a limited amount of sessions per month to ensure I can get you into the studio in those first 2 weeks when baby is their most sleepy and curly, and as you know, babies rarely arrive when you expect them to.
I am fully trained in newborn photography, and newborn safety, and as a mummy myself, am very aware of how special these little bundles are to new mummies and daddies. I offer a very relaxed style shoot, focussing on you and your baby in a warm and welcoming environment.
The session will take place in my beautiful studio in Wallingford that has everything you need for a new baby. Upon booking, I will send you all the information you need to prepare for your session, including what to expect and what to bring with you.
There are many ways you can choose to purchase your imagery, whether it be in digital format or something priceless to go on your wall. I have a wide and beautiful selection of wall art, prints, and keepsakes that you can look at in the studio, and also offer a selection of stunning tailormade packages. THE NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE
When you get in touch with us we’ll talk you through the whole process. This isn’t just a newborn photography session, it’s an experience! It’s not about one size fits all, it’s working with you to create the perfect gallery for you and your family.
1 – LET’S BOOK
You can book your session with me any time after your 20-week scan. I only shoot limited numbers of newborn sessions in a month to work around due dates, however, please do get in touch if you’ve just had your baby, I may be able to squeeze you in!
2 – WHEN?
When baby arrives, I ask you to let me know, so we can then find a date in that first few weeks to get you in to the studio for your session. The best time to do a newborn session is in the first two weeks.
3 – THE SHOOT?
Sessions are entirely baby-led and you can expect to spend around 3 hours in the studio. I have everything you need, and will supply you with all the details of how to prepare for the day.
Don’t forget family and sibling images are all included.
4 – AFTER THE SHOOT
Your images will go through an editing process to provide you with a beautiful gallery to choose from.
5 – VIEWING YOUR IMAGES
When your gallery is ready, I will invite you back to the studio to view them all on a big screen. This is where you will choose which package you would like and how you would like to display your beautiful new images.
6 – TAKING THEM HOME
Your chosen package is finalised, any product ordered and delivered directly to you.
We have received our gorgeous photographs from Emma and we are so pleased. This is the third time we’ve used Emma. I have a maternity and newborn shoot last year. And another newborn shoot a few weeks ago. She was so patient with us considering we had a newborn, 17-month-old and dog to try and get pictures with. She really accommodated us as a family and even managed to get a beautiful picture of our newborn and 17-month old which is never thought would happen! We are more than impressed. How to Book
You can secure your appointment in the studio with me with just a £69 session fee. This fee also includes the full use of props, editing and your viewing appointment. Approximately 3 weeks after your session you will be invited back for your viewing and ordering appointment, to view your final gallery of edited images and choose which products and packages suit you best.

Introducing our simple and charming “Baby Posing Table” session, where your adorable baby will be the star!
Using one colour only, I will capture 5 stunning images of your baby, whether they are peacefully asleep or wide awake.
